CY JZ/OZ clear PVC screened control cable, no’d

CY JZ/OZ clear control cable has number coded cores and a bedded tinned copper wire braid which provides excellent protection against electrical interference.

These flexible and versatile CY JZ/OZ cables are used for connecting, measuring, checking and control applications.

Suitable for installation in dry and moist rooms, outdoor installation not recommended.

stranded plain copper conductors
polyvinylchloride (PVC) core insulation
grey PVC bedding (inner sheath)
tinned copper wire braid (TCWB) screen
clear oil resistant PVC outer sheath

bend radius: 6 x overall diameter (O/D) fixed, 20 x O/D flexing
voltage rating: 300/500V operating, 2000V test
current rating: as per YY, CY or SY style cables chart, see Current Ratings page
temperature range:  -15°C to +80°C flexible, -40°C to +80°C static 
max. +70°C at conductor
construction: generally according to BS6500 & VDE0250
flame retardant: according to IEC 60332-1
core identification: OZ, usually 2 core = numbered black cores without earth (green/yellow)
JZ, usually 3+ cores = numbered black cores with earth (inc. in core count)
