CY LSZH NR/OZ screened grey control cable is used for connecting, measuring, checking and control applications where there is a need for electrical screening. The tinned copper wire braid (TCWB) provides interference-free data and signal transmission.
Suitable for use indoors in dry or moist areas. May be available with UV stabilized sheath for external installations.
These CY LSZH cables are designed for increased safety in the case of fire due to the virtual elimination of toxic fumes if burnt. Pronounced advantages when compared to a PVC control cable: low fire load, low smoke emission, reduced fire propagation.
Note: low smoke zero halogen / halogen free (LSZH, LSOH, LSHF, OHLS) should not be confused with LSF (low smoke and fume), an in-depth explanation is shown on our Customer Support page.
