Foundation fieldbus A, B or high-speed

Single pair bi-directional digital cables designed for use in process automation industries, blue or orange sheath as standard.

Category: Fieldbus (bus) Cables

Product Specification

Foundation fieldbus cable is available in three ranges: type A (can also be known as Profibus PA), type B or high-speed. Based on IEC 61158-2 and complying with ISA SP50 standard these bi-directional digital cables ensure fault free transmission of the fully digitalised serial two way communication system.

These single pair foundation fieldbus cables are designed for use in process automation industries such as Chemical, Food, Oil, Gas, Paper, Metals and Minerals. LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) and LSF (low smoke and fume) versions for increased fire safety are generally available on request.

Note: low smoke zero halogen / halogen free (LSZH, LSOH, LSHF, OHLS) should not be confused with LSF (low smoke and fume), an in-depth explanation is shown on our LSZH Control Flex front page.
