Neopren central strain rubber crane cable

Flexible multicore cables with strain cord to relieve stress for control applications in elevators, machine tools etc.

Category: Flatform, Crane and Drum Reeling

Product Specification

Neopren central strain flexible multicore rubber crane cable is designed for outdoor use where long lengths are installed without the use of messenger supports. They are ideal for use as trailing control cables and are commonly utilised in handling and hoisting gear, elevators, construction machinery, machine tools and other machinery where the central strain cord is needed to relieve stress.

These Neopren central strain rubber cables are weatherproof and thus suitable for use indoors or outdoors including applications where the cable is exposed to adverse conditions, for example: in shipyards, steelworks, scrap yards, dockyard installations and conveyor systems.

The central cord provides strain relief but these cables are not suitable for drum reeling installations (where cable is continuously reeled in and out on pulleys or drums under tensile loads).

PCP or Neoprene Rubber (Polychloroprene) Properties: this self-extinguishing compound has excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone and water. It also has very good resistance to acids, alkalis and solvents plus good abrasion resistance.
