Product Specification

YY NR/OZ grey control cable is designed for connecting, measuring, checking and control applications. 

These flexible and versatile YY NR/OZ cables with number coded cores work well in environments with only light mechanical stress. 

Suitable for installation in dry and moist rooms. Outdoor installation not recommended.

Construction – YY NR/OZ grey
stranded plain copper conductors.
polyvinylchloride (PVC) core insulation.
grey oil resistant PVC outer sheath.

 

Technical – YY NR/OZ grey

bend radius: 4 x overall diameter (O/D) fixed, 15 x O/D flexing
voltage rating: 300/500V operating, 2000V test
current rating: as per YY, CY or SY style cables chart. See Current Ratings page.
temperature range: -15°C to +80°C flexible, -40°C to +80°C static
max. +70°C at conductor
construction: generally according to BS6500 & VDE0250.
flame retardant: according to IEC 60332-1.
oil resistant: according to EN 50525-2-11
core identification: OZ, usually 2 core = numbered black cores without earth (green/yellow).
NR, usually 3+ cores = numbered black cores with earth (included in core count).
