Flatform PVC (H05VVH6-F or H07VVH6-F)

Flatform PVC unscreened flexible multicore flat cable is designed for use in conveyor and hoisting equipment, as feed cable for mobile machine components. Can also be used in power chains, cable trolley or festoon systems and lift applications etc.

The harmonised codes for flatform PVC cables; H05VVH6-F and H07VVH6-F differ dependent on voltage rating. See the technical chart below.

Suitable for indoor use in dry, wet or moist environments. 

Flat cables generally need less space than round cables so can be utilised for space-saving installations. Although they can only flex on one plane they can bend tightly in that direction so the bending radius of a flat cable is usually smaller than that of an equivalent circular cable. 

Polyvinylchloride (PVC) Properties: These compounds are self-extinguishing with fair abrasive resistance, good resistance to water, aqueous salt solutions, acids and alkalis.

   voltage rating: H05VVH6-F = 300/500V operating, 2000V test (usually up to 1.0mm² cores)
H07VVH6-F = 450/750V operating, 2500V test (usually 1.5mm² cores & above)
   current rating: as per flatform, crane & drum chart, see Current Ratings page
   temperature range: 0°C to +60°C flexible, -15° C to +60° C static 
(some versions suitable for +70° C maximum)
   flame retardant: according to IEC60332-1
  core identification: 3-5 cores = coloured to VDE 0293 with green/yellow earth (inc. in core count)
