Neo-Flat rubber (NGFLGOEU) is a multicore unscreened flatform flexible cable designed for installation on cranes, on hoisting gear and conveyor systems. Can also be used in power chains, cable trolley or festoon systems and lift applications etc.
These Neo-Flat rubber cables are weatherproof and thus suitable for use indoors or outdoors including applications where under adverse conditions, for example: in shipyards, steelworks and scrap yards.
Flat cables generally need less space than round cables so can be utilised for space-saving installations. Although they can only flex on one plane they can bend tightly in that direction so the bending radius of a flat cable is usually smaller than that of an equivalent circular cable.
PCP or Neoprene Rubber (Polychloroprene) Properties: this self-extinguishing compound has excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone and water. It also has very good resistance to acids, alkalis and solvents plus good abrasion resistance.
